The Plater-Moore Conference on Teaching and Learning will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the IUPUI Campus Center.
Building upon the legacy of the William M. Plater Institute on the Future of Learning and the Edward C. Moore Symposium, the inaugural Plater-Moore Conference seeks to accomplish the following goals:
- Promote a culture of teaching and learning that values inclusion, collegiality/belonging, equity, and continuous improvement
- Provide opportunities for educators to share best practices and innovative ideas for teaching and learning
- Promote collaboration and/or interprofessional dialogue among educators from diverse departments and disciplines
- Provide opportunities for professional development and networking
This conference seeks to bring together educators from across IU who are committed to teaching excellence and innovative pedagogies that encourage student learning and success.
