An ePortfolio for the Professional School Counselor's Program

Friday, January 25, 2013 | Online - Adobe Connect Meeting Room | 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Yvonne Larrier, Assistant Professor, IUSB Counseling & Human Services, will share her experiences implementing an ePortfolio project for the ePortfolios @ IU webinar series.  A newcomer to the portfolio tools in Oncourse, Dr. Larrier embarked upon a bold undertaking during the Fall of 2012 as she rolled out a very ambitious ePortfolio project for the Professional School Counselor’s program. Students use the portfolio tools in Oncourse to collect artifacts/examples of their course work and other experiences. While reflecting on the learning resulting from these experiences, they begin the development of a showcase portfolio that will be complete at the end of this 2-year cohort program. Dr. Larrier also plans to use the ePortfolio tools to guide the program-level assessment process. The development and implementation of the ePortfolio matrices and presentation template, rubrics used to assess artifacts, and lessons learned will be shared.

No registration necessary. The webinar can be viewed online, using your own computer, in the Adobe Connect online meeting room: http://connect.iu.edu/ep-iu/. Participants will be able to log in as guests. If you have any questions about the webinar or would like additional instructions for preparing for and participating in the workshop, please feel free to contact Debbie Runshe drunshe@iupui.edu.
