Associate Faculty Teaching Forum

Save the Date

At this annual event hosted by the Center for Teachng and Learning, associate faculty join their colleagues from around IUPUI in forum sessions, informal meetings to discuss commonly encountered teaching issues and campus efforts to improve student learning. This year’s event (see schedule below) will be held on Wednesday, September 18, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the University Library, in and about the offices of the Center for Teaching and Learning. Forum sessions will emphasize discussions about the ways that faculty may increase student retention rates, especially through inclusive teaching approaches, and about faculty efforts to map their course learning objectives to IUPUI’s innovative new PLUS institutional learning outcomes. Faculty will also get an opportunity to try out new teaching technologies. Our featured speaker is Jay Gladden, Associate Vice Chancellor for Undergraduate Education. Jay's presentation is titled The Importance of Faculty in Student Persistence and Success.
