CTL Instructional Design Team to Present at 2016 POD Conference
CTL Director, Terri Tarr and instructional design consultants, James Gregory, Douglas Jerolimov, and Anusha Rao will conduct an interactive session titled Closing the Loop: Formative Evaluation of Faculty Development Webinars at the 2016 Professional and Organizational Development (POD) Network Conference which will be held November 9 - 13, 2016, in Louisville, KY. The goal of this session is to disseminate a formative webinar evaluation tool and process that was developed at the CTL to improve the Teaching@IUPUI webinar series on foundational teaching skills for faculty and graduate students. Tarr and Richard Turner, CTL faculty fellow and Emeritus Professor of English and Philanthropic Studies, also will present a poster on Ensuring and Measuring the Transformative Impact of Teaching Grants. Jerolimov and Turner will present a poster on Documenting Teaching Practices: A Conceptual Framework and Faculty Voices. The POD Network is devoted to improving teaching and learning in higher education by providing support and professional growth opportunities for educational leaders and developers.
