Strategies for Incorporating Video in Instruction

The creation and distribution of video is becoming more mainstream as new tools are created and developed that simplify the art of video production.

In this workshop, you will learn best practices when working with video, shooting and production tips, and the emergence of Flip Video in higher education. Get hands-on experience shooting and editing footage, plus learn the pedagogy when incorporating video into your classroom.

This workshop will be fast paced and very hands on. Come with an idea of a short ( 3-5 minute) video that you will develop during this workshop.

Registering for Events

All CTL-sponsored events are free, and most are open to the entire campus and/or the public. All participants, however, are asked to register online in advance. We use the registration data to generate nametags and attendance sheets, as well as to ensure that we have sufficient materials, seating, and food (in the case of longer events). When you complete your registration, you will receive an immediate email confirmation. A follow-up reminder will be sent the day before the event occurs.
