CONNECTing w/Students:Adobe Connect Best Practices

This workshop focuses on how creating a virtual meeting space can provide social presence, collaboration, and team building using the web-based conferencing service Adobe Connect. Participants will join a live online classroom and experience synchronous communication via video, audio, and chat. Participants will also see the power of sharing resources, such as presentations, documents, software applications, and other multimedia within the Adobe Connect environment.
NOTE: This workshop is held online using Adobe Connect. You will need working speakers to hear the presenter. It is strongly recommended that you have a high-speed Internet connection to participate in this session. Registered participants will receive an email with instructions for viewing and a link to the Adobe Connect meeting room a day or two before the event.
All CTL-sponsored events are free, and most are open to the entire campus and/or the public. All participants, however, are asked to register online in advance. We use the registration data to generate nametags and attendance sheets, as well as to ensure that we have sufficient materials, seating, and food (in the case of longer events). When you complete your registration, you will receive an immediate email confirmation. A follow-up reminder will be sent the day before the event occurs.
