Multicultural Teaching and Learning Institute

The IUPUI student body is diverse, representing 122 countries, many races and ethnicities, with a majority of the entire incoming freshman being first-generation students. How can faculty create curriculum and classroom environments that support success with such a diverse group of students? The Multicultural Teaching and Learning Institute (MTLI) addresses this question.

Registering for Events

All CTL-sponsored events are free, and most are open to the entire campus and/or the public. All participants, however, are asked to register online in advance. We use the registration data to generate nametags and attendance sheets, as well as to ensure that we have sufficient materials, seating, and food (in the case of longer events). When you complete your registration, you will receive an immediate email confirmation. A follow-up reminder will be sent the day before the event occurs.
